Cookbook Page Design

For this project my classmates and I had to pick out a simple recipe and design a two-page layout. It includes the ingredients and the instructions on how to make it. My design I wanted it to be legible because it was going to be printed smaller but I also wanted to give a "coffee shop" vibe to it. So, I used brown and other accompanying colors. The font is bold enough to be legible. I also added small icons to represent some of the ingrediants to fill in some of that negative space. This was one of three designs I made.
